Uma Bharti should withdraw remark says Vasan

: TMC president G K Vasan today demanded that BJP leader Uma Bharathi withdraw her remark describing as revolutionary, the bill she moved on March 14 in Lok Sabha,to set up a single, permanent tribunal to adjudicate inter-state river water disputes subsuming existing tribunals.
She should withdraw the remark, he told reporters here.
Vasan, who participated in a workers meeting here, said the party welcomed the high court direction to the government to waive off all cooperative bank loans of farmers.
He said the union government should also waive off all bank loans f agriculturists and alleged that both the centre and state government had not addressed farmers' problems
He referred to the Uttar pradesh government's action of waiving off huge loans and regretted that Tamil Nadu government had not taken similar action.
He said steps should be taken to get back the 145 boats of the Indian fishermen, which had been detained by Sri Lankan navy.
On the local body elections, he said the party was making arrangements to contest them on their own and if like minded parties come foward for alliance, it might come about.
