Two local workers of the United Nations are suspected to have been kidnapped from Gulshan-e-Maymar area here, police said.
The two workers, Sami Nawaz and Farrukh Saleem, went missing yesterday night while returning from a water theme park at super highway near Gulshan-e-Maymar.
"We are investigating the matter after the wife of one of the worker's informed the police that her husband's cell was switched off since yesterday evening," police officer Nawaz Tanoli said.
Meanwhile another police official said it was too early to say if they had been kidnapped but it appeared they might have been abducted as their cell phones were last switched on in Sachal, a notorious area off the Super Highway.
