The accused, Harvinder Kumar Suri, and three others were arrested yesterday and Suri's friend Kuldeep was rescued during a routine check of vehicles by police at Tilak Nagar in west Delhi.
During the exercise, police stopped a car but its occupants tried to escape and on checking injured Kuldeep was found in it.
Kuldeep, who was allegedly kidnapped, told police that he had lent Rs 4 lakh in 2009 to Suri after accepting his house documents as security.
Since Suri did not return the money, Kuldeep started demanding the same and was asked by his friend to come to a Metro station yesterday with the documents so that he will return the amount.
When Kuldeep reached the station, Suri and the other three pushed him inside the car and forcibly took away the property documents and way laid him at gun point, a senior police official said.
