Unhappy with the way some policemen saluted him here, a senior officer has ordered the four cops to participate in the parade held at the Police Lines every morning for one month to learn saluting and other police manners.
The order has been issued by Uttar Pradesh ADG (Law and Order) Mukul Goyal, SP (City) Prabhakar Choudhary said today.
Choudhary said yesterday Mukul Goyal had come to the city. He visited the Rail Bazar Police Station for inspection.
However, he found that the way Station Incharge M S Siddiqui, Sub-Inspector Rajkumar and constables Ratan Kumar and Sandeep Kumar saluted him was not appropriate, Choudhary said.
So the ADG told the policemen to attend the parade to learn to salute properly again, he said.
Choudhary said the ADG later issued an order directing Station Incharge M S Siddiqui to attend the drill and parade taking place in the Police Lines at 6 am every Friday for one month. He has been told to participate in the parade under the guidance of the SSP and learn saluting and other police manners.
