Deeply disappointed with the way the team went down, Bencherifa gave enough hints of his resignation and said, "I would have to think about stepping down if we play like this."
"The supporters have all the right to be angry because they want Bagan to be at the top.
The supporters had all the hope as it was Mohun Bagan's first home match of the I-League as they had started with a loss (Pune FC) and a draw (Churchill Brothers).
