Baljit Singh escaped from the sub jail at Dasuya, police said.
Jail warden Balbir Singh along with four officials Havalati Ghansham, Lakhvinder Singh, Amandeep Singh, Balbir Singh were booked for their alleged role into the escaping, police said.
Meanwhile, in a similar incident, an undertrial juvenile delinquent fled from observation home at local Ram colony camp.
Care taker of the observation home has been booked.
Efforts were being made to arrest the escapees.
