Unfancied Prabhakar in last 32

M Prabhakar of Karnataka knocked out seasoned Neeraj Kumar to storm into the last-32 round of the 8-ball Pool (Men) Championship here today.
Both the players tried to pull off the match but Prabhakar held his nerve and inched ahead in the final moments to settle the issue in an exciting finish.
In another match, Rajesh Tulsian from Bengal shocked fancied Manish Jain by winning the decider rack and clinch the issue 6-5.
Both of them played excellent rally of safe shots in the opening rack and later Rajesh pocketed the black to win the rack.
After that both the players demonstrated good shots and reached the decider frame where Rajesh outplayed his statemate.
Multiple times national champion, Manan Chandra also received stiff competition from Michael Rebello (Karnataka) but the experienced Chandra managed to get through winning his match 6-4.
Shahbaaz Khan (PSPB) and Harpreet Singh (Delhi) sailed smoothly into next round by winning their respective matches by identical 6-1 margins against Magesh S (Tamil Nadu) and Akshay Rehani (Delhi) respectively.
