Unidentified body recovered from canal in Greater Noida

A body of an unidentified man was recovered from a canal near Kherli crossing in Dankaur area today, police said.
The body was pulled out of the canal this morning after some villagers informed the police, Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Tripathi said.
The unidentified body has been sent for post-mortem, DSP Tripathi said, adding that prima-facie it appears that the man was murdered somewhere and the body was thrown in the canal.
The body could not be identified till evening, police said, adding that investigations are on in the case.
