The firing took place early this morning when the office was closed with MLA Sunil Vaidya claiming that the motive was to kill people inside.
According to a eyewitness, at 1:30 AM, four men on two bikes reached outside the office and started firing.
Vaidya claimed that he had been attacked earlier as well.
A complaint has been registered, police said, adding they have launched an investigation into the incident.
