"This union budget is smoky and has no provision for safeguarding interests of common man, while it takes care of giving lots of tax relief for the corporate houses," CPI(M)- led Front chairman Biman Bose told reporters here.
Bose said there was no mention of tackling price rise of commodities as also efforts to arrest parallel economy, thereby "putting pressure on national economy".
He said a meagre Rs 1,000 crore had been allocated for implementing food security bill which is unfortunate.
