The new cases have sparked concern among health authorities in the district where hospitals have seen an influx of patients complaining of high fever in recent days.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) RP Singh Yadav claimed that the new persons tested positive for dengue are from the existing batch of patients who were initially admitted for viral fever.
Yadav said that the situation in Bhanwar village is improving and no new case has been reported in the past 24 hours.
There are 30 patients admitted in hospitals with viral fever, which has claimed three lives so far, he said.
As a precautionary measure, a team of about 12 doctors are still camping in the village, Yadav said.
As many as 550 patients, all residents of Bhanwar village of Ghatampur tehsil, with viral fever had been admitted to various medical centres, with most of them discharged later.
