UP: 3 die as LPG cylinder catches fire

Three persons including a mother-son duo were killed when the LPG cylinder in their home caught fire, police said on Monday.

The incident took place in Mirzapur on Sunday when food was being cooked in the kitchen, they said.

Maharani (50), her son Kuldeep (25) and Anmol (9) sustained serious burn injuries and were taken to a hospital, they said.

While Anmol died on Sunday, the other two succumbed to injuries during treatment on Monday, they said.
