Samir Khan, a school boy of class II, who had fled from his home in Uttar Pradesh, has been found at a hospital in West Bengal.
Afraid of being rebuked by his father for neglecting studies, Samir had fled from his home in Vadoi, about 40 km from Varanasi, on March three.
He fell from a train trying to get down at Chakdaha railway station in Nadia district of West Bengal, badly injuring his legs on the night of March 8, GRP sources said.
Chakdaha GRP had taken him to local hospital from where he was referred to Kalyani JNM Hospital that very night.
Sources in the JNM Hospital said one of his legs might have to be amputated.
Being informed, Samir's father Afsar Ali Khan reached Kalyani yesterday.

"I had scolded my son for being inattentive in studies and he left home on March 1. I later found him working at a tea stall in a nearby village. Someone also lured him with a job in Mumbai. I brought him home," Khan said.
However, after Khan had gone out for work, he fled again on March 3 fearing that he might be scolded again.
"Since then I am searching for him at various places," Afsar said with tears in his eyes.
It is not clear how Samir reached Chakdaha.
Before Khan came, two local persons, Tushi Das and Pratip Mukherjee, had been taking care of Samir.
