"It is a very balanced budget which is likely to spur holistic growth and development of Uttar Pradesh," D S Rawat, secretary general of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) said in a statement here today.
The chamber hailed the supportive announcements and fund allocation for different industrial sectors -- infrastructure, education, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), cottage and rural industry, food processing, healthcare, information technology (IT) and others.
"These initiatives, if implemented in letter and spirit, are likely to boost the states investment attractiveness and create significant employment opportunities across UP," Rawat said.
