During the inspections, orders were issued to initiate actions, including suspension, transfer and departmental action, against 17 employees found lax in the discharge of their duties, it said.
The officials against whom action would be initiated include Registrar of Jhansi Sadar Pannalal, Junior Engineer Arvind Soni and Executive Engineer of Jalaun Nagarpalika P K Chaudary, it added.
