"Foreign investment is being encouraged in the Make in India scheme of Centre but profit thus generated will also go abroad," Yadav said while addressing a programme here.
He said that the Uttar Pradesh government was promoting "Make in UP" and ensuring that the profit incurred is re-invested in the state only.
"As India is a big market, UP also has a big market with with over 20 crore population. We believe that if facilities are provided to industrialists, investments will also pour in," Yadav said.
