Uttar Pradesh continues to reel from severe heat

The plains of Uttar Pradesh continued to reel under severe heat with weather remaining dry.

Met office today said that day temperatures fell in Bareilly division but changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.

The day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Allahabad, Kanpur, Jhansi divisions, Varanasi, Moradabad, Agra divisions and normal in the remaining divisions across the state.

They have forecast that weather would be dry in the state and heat wave conditions would prevail at isolated places.

Dust or thundershowers would occur at isolated places in western UP, they added.
