UP Deputy CM pitches for RO water plant in Nagla Chandrabhan

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya today requested the Mathura refinery of Indian Oil Corporation to install a big RO water plant in Nagla Chandrabhan, the birthplace of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, to address drinking water problem.
"To overcome the problem of hard water in the area, install an RO plant in the birthplace of late Deen Dayal Upadhyay," Maurya suggested to the refinery authorities, after inaugurating an exhibition of the Mathura refinery in Nagla Chandrabhan on the occasion of birth centenary celebrations of Bharatiya Jana Sangh ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.
He said the water plant would would help improve health of the people.
Lauding the CSR activities of the refinery, Maurya said the officers should interact with public representatives of the area from time to time for valuable suggestions.
"Every village in the state would have road connectivity under Deen Dayal Sampark Marg Yojna and 13 lakh houses constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna would be given to the poor," he said, adding that the state government has been successful in taking back plots that were earlier occupied by the mafia.
The deputy chief minister also said the police under the previous regime shielded the land mafia but the new government made sure that the goons were put behind bars.
Maurya further announced the establishment of an agro processing plant for potato growers, but did not disclose the details.
Claiming that the state government was making every effort to double the income of the farmers, he instructed District Magistrate A M Bangari to ensure that water from the canal covers fields of every farmer here.
