Uttar Pradesh government today revoked suspension of two Provincial Police Service (PPS) officers after charges against them were found insufficient for the action.
Suspensions of Ramji Singh Yadav and Sanjay Kumar have been revoked after charges against them were found insufficient, state Home Secretary RN Upadhyay told reporters.
While Yadav, who was posted as Additional SP in Faizabad, was suspended last year after a stone pelting incident during Dusshera procession, Kumar was suspended four months back when he could not reply to queries of the then DGP, AC Sharma at a meeting.
Kumar was posted as Circle officer Cant at the time of suspension.
Upadhyay said, new postings would be given to these officers soon.
