UP govt transfers 11 IAS, 24 IPS officers

In a second administrative reshuffle within a week, the Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 11 IAS and 24 IPS officers, which include three district magistrates and some district police chiefs.
As per the orders issued today, Ghaziabad District Magistrate S B S Rangarao has been shifted as Special Secretary in Food and Civil Supplies department, an official spokesman said here.
Besides, Mau District Magistrate Bhupendra S Chaudhary has been transferred as Special Secretary in Labour department, the spokesman said. Chaudhary has been replaced by Special Secretary in Sugar and Cane Industry, Kumudlata Srivastava.
While Public Service Commission, Secretary, B B Singh has been sent to Jhansi as the Divisional Commissioner, Azamgarh DM R P Arora will be the new Director of Non-Conventional Energy Development Agency. He will be replaced by Director (Census) Neena Sharma.
Director of ESI Medical Services, Usha Raman Singh, has been transferred as Special Secretary (Technical Education), while Vice-Chairman of Saharanpur Development Authority, Avinash Gaur, will take over as Special Secretary in the Cooperative Department, the spokesman said.
Vice-Chairman of Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority, Nidhi Kesarwani, has been put on waiting list.
Special Secretary (Transport) Adarsh Singh has been sent to Rural Development Department in the same capacity. Special Secretary (Irrigation) Pushpa Singh has been shifted as Managing Director of PCF.
Among IPS officers, Director-General (Telecom) Rizwan Ahmed has been shifted to railway in the same capacity. ADG O P Singh, who was attached to the DG office, has been posted as ADG radio headquarters, whereas IG of cooperative cell Anand Swaroop has been shifted to food cell.
