"Any decent person will not make such comment," Naik said in reply to a question during a press conference on the eve of completing two years in office.
He said, "Such utterance cannot be tolerated in a democracy and I strongly condemn the remarks."
Singh had yesterday sparked an outrage by his derogatory comments against the former UP chief minister.
Taking a serious cognisance of Singh's comment, BJP last night relieved him of all responsibilities and removed him from the post of party's state unit vice president.
