"In the one year of my tenure in Raj Bhawan, I could not meet you for discussion on the development of the state. It would be a pleasure for me to meet you and we can have positive discussion on development," the Governor said in a letter to the UP Parliamentarians, an official release stated.
Saying that he has visited a number of districts during this one year to find out about the social background as well as the problems affecting UP, Naik declared that he continues to discuss the problems with the state government and has been offering suggestions for their redress.
Naik, who is also the Chancellor of 25 universities in the state, asked the MPs to apprise him of the problems being faced by the varsities and colleges in their respective areas.
