"By holding a press conference to highlight work done by him in past six months on January 21, Governor Naik has started a new tradition. Either President or Centre should take notice whether it it good or bad practice. However, it clearly shows that present SP government in the state is weak and helpless," Mayawati said.
"Whenever any institution is weak, the another tries to press it further," she said while addressing party workers from Bihar, Uttrakhand, Jharkahand, Karnataka, Maharastra, Tamil Nadu, Telengana, Kerala and West Bengal who gathered here to review party's strategy for 2017 Assembly polls.
Mayawati also attacked those who recently left the party saying, "some people, who became MPs, legislators and even got ministerial berths have left the party and hurt the BSP movement. 'Bahujan samaj' will not spare them."
Mayawati on the occasion discussed in detail ways and means to strengthen her party ahead of the UP Assembly polls scheduled in 2017.
