A mother-daughter duo was killed and three others injured when a car collided with a truck in Pharenda area here, police said on Friday.
Kailashi Devi (60) and her daughter Mamta Devi (27) died in the incident that took place on Thursday evening while three of their relatives, who got injured, were hospitalised and their condition is stable, police said.
The family members were on their way to Nautanwa town in the district.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem and the truck has been seized, police said.
