UP Police asked to take preventive steps in cases of old

To check crimes taking place due to old enmity, Uttar Pradesh Police has directed all the police stations to examine all such cases and take preventive measures.
The move comes on the heels of recent killings in Gonda and Kanpur due to old enmity.
"For checking incidents of killing and clashes due to old enmity, directives have been issued by the DGP office to all circle officers and police station in-charges to examine all such cases in their areas and take preventive measures," IG, Law and Order A Satish Ganesh.
