UP STF to probe SI recruitment exam leak

A day after the online examination for the post of sub-inspectors was cancelled, the Uttar Pradesh police Special Task Force (STF) was today handed over probe into the alleged leakage of question papers.
"The STF has been handed over the probe. A directive has been issued to the UP police recruitment board to lodge an FIR in the matter through the concerned agency (which was carrying online exams)," an official spokesman said here.
The online recruitment exam had started on July 17 and was to continue till July 31. Yesterday, the tests scheduled on July 25 and July 26 were cancelled citing unavoidable reasons.

However, later, the entire exam was cancelled.
The next date of the examination will be displayed on the website https://bsmedia.business-standard.comuppbpb.Gov.In, the spokesman said.
