"We (government) are taking steps to ensure that all eligible children secure admission in schools under the Right to Education Act by the end of this year", he said on the sidelines of a function at Tetagunta village in East Godavari district.
The minister laid foundation stones for Primary Health Central building constructed at the cost of Rs 75 lakh and Rs 30-lakh protected water scheme.
"We will train teachers in latest technical methods so that they can effectively impart modern education to students," he said.
Hailing the Budget, Raju said the government has made a provision of Rs 80,000 crore in Budget 2013-14 for rural development including providing of infrastructure facilities in the country.

"Union Cabinet also discussed about building a network of roads to connect rural areas with towns", he said.
The minister also laid a foundation stone for road expansion works, totalling Rs 5.20 crore, on National Highway no. 5�at Annavaram.
