The UPCC today announced its 14-member media team, after conducting a written test for selection of spokespersons for the party.
The team comprising 14 coordinators would be led by Rajiv Bakshi. Saif Ali Naqvi and Tanuj Punia, sons of former Congress MPs Zafar Ali Naqvi and P L Punia respectively, would be members of the team.
Suchi Biswas was the only woman in the team, according to the list released by UPCC president Raj Babbar here.
While Bakshi was a spokesperson of the party in the past, Biswas was a spokesperson of the women's cell.
For assisting the team, a four-member media input division and a team of four special invitees had also been constituted, accommodating senior leaders who were leading the media and communication department of the party for a long time.
Special invitees -- Virendra Madan, Amarnath Agarwal, Dwijendra Tripathi and Surendra Rajput, all former spokespersons -- would cooperate on the request of the UPCC media.

The special invitees and input division was aimed at bringing in experience in the media division of the state unit.
The party had last month conducted a written test and interviewed candidates for its new media team.
Over 90 Congressmen had appeared in the written test and also faced Congress national spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi and AICC social media coordinator Rohan Gupta who interviewed them.
"If you want to be a spokesperson for the state and represent it, you need to have the information about it. You need to have knowledge about basic things," Chaturvedi who was here to interview the team members had said.
Babbar had dissolved his media team and three other departments of the party to pave the way for appointing a new team in preparation for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
