RJD MLAs and MLCs raised anti-government slogans in the portico of both the houses before moving inside, accusing the Nitish Kumar government of trying to cover up the incidents.

As soon as the question hour ended in the assembly, RJD's Bhai Virendra and Samrat Choudhary moved an adjournment motion seeking a debate on the issue but Speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary rejected the plea, saying it was not in keeping with the rules of the house.

This led the RJD MLAs to start shouting anti-government slogans and demanded that the state government make a detailed reply besides recommending a CBI enquiry into the incidents.

Even as the Speaker keep on saying that the members could raise the issue through call attention notice and place their demands, the agitated members did not relent.

Later Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijendra Prasad Yadav said RJD members should have raised the issue in other form and the state government was ready for making a reply.

Lone CPI MLA Awadhesh Rai also joined his RJD colleagues, supporting the demand for a CBI probe.
