Upset over low business, trader hangs self

Apparently upset over sluggish business, a 38-year-old Sahibabad-based trader has allegedly committed suicide here by hanging himself from a ceiling at his house, police said today.
The victim, identified as Sandeep Jain, a native of Khekra Town in Baghpat, was living in a rented accommodation with his wife and two sons in Naveen Park colony and used to deal in cotton rags and bottled water.
Sandeep came to the house around 10 pm yesterday and was looking depressed. He started weeping upset over sluggish business and went to his room. Later when his wife went to his room, she discovered him hanging from a ceiling fan, SHO Upendra Yadav said.
Sandeep was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him "brought dead", police said, adding, the body has been sent for postmortem.
