Urad dal prices go up; other commodities remain stable

The prices of urad dal moved up while all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad dal rose by Rs 400 to Rs 8,200 against its previous rate of Rs 7,800 per quintal.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,300 Urad Dal Rs 8,200 Moong Dal Rs 9,800 Gram Dal Rs 3,900 Sugar Rs 3,300 Wheat Rs 2,400 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,500.
