Traders said besides easing demand at existing levels, adequate stocks position in the market on higher supplies from producing region mainly kept pressure on urad and gram prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local moved down by Rs 300 each to Rs 8100-8,700 and Rs 9,100-9,300 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 9200-9,800 and Rs 9,600-9,900 per quintal respectively.
