Traders said selective buying led to rise in urad and its dal prices while adequate supplies kept pressure on other pulses.
In the national capital, urad and its dal prices rose by Rs 150 each to Rs 4,650-5,200 and Rs 5,800-6,000, while urad dal best quality and dhoya were also traded higher by the same margin to Rs 6,050-6,650 and Rs 6,300-6,700 per quintal respectively.
Gram, gramdal local and best quality were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,950-3,700, Rs 3,900-4,100 and Rs 4,000-4,100 per quintal respectively.
