Urad, kabuli gram weaken on muted demand

Prices of urad and kabuli gram fell by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today owing to slackened demand.
Traders said, easing demand from retailers against adequate stocks position, mainly weighed on urad and kabuli gram prices.
In the national capital, urad eased to Rs 3,900-5,750 against last close of Rs 4,100-5,850 per quintal. Its dal chilka local, best quality and dhoya were trading down by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,100-5,200,Rs 5,200-5,700 and Rs 5,600-5,800 per quintal, respectively.
Kabuli gram small variety also shed Rs 100 to Rs 8,400- 9,600 per quintal.

Masoor small Rs 3,600-3,700, bold Rs 3,650-3,800, Dal Masoor local Rs 3,650-4,150, best quality Rs 3,750-4,250, Malka local Rs 4,000-4,200, best Rs 4,100-4,400, Moth Rs 3,600-4,000, Arhar Rs 3,950 Dal Arhar Dara Rs 5,800-7,700.
Gram Rs 5,000-5,300, Gram dal (local) Rs 5,500-5,900, best quality Rs 5,900-6,000, Besan (35 kg), Shakti bhog Rs 2,350, Rajdhani Rs 2,350, Rajma Chitra Rs 7,000-9,300, Kabuli Gram small Rs 8,400-9,600, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 4,500-4,700, Peas white Rs 2,725-2,750 and green Rs 2,775-2,875.
