Other pulses, however, moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said sluggish demand at prevailing levels mainly kept pressure on urad and moth prices.
In the national capital, urad eased to Rs 4,500-5,050 against last close of Rs 4,500-5,075 per quintal. Its dal chilka local and best traded lower by Rs 25 each to Rs 5,650-5,850 and Rs 5,900-6,500 per quintal, respectively.
Urad dal dhoya local also enquired lower by similar margin to Rs 6,150-6,550 per quintal. Moth too weakened by Rs 100 to Rs 4,900-5,200 per quintal.
