Prices of urad and other pulses climbed up to Rs 300 per quintal at the wholesale market today on brisk buying by stockists on the back of rising demand against tight supplies from producing belts and costlier imports.
Traders said besides rising demand from retailers, tight supplies on fall in arrivals from producing belts mainly pushed up select pulse prices.
