The delegation was led by Arun M Kumar, Director General of the US and Foreign Commercial Service and Assistant Secretary for Global Markets, Department of Commerce.
During the meeting, Rao said Government of Telangana would shortly come up with a "Zero Corruption Industrial Policy" and will propagate the same all over the world, according to a release from the Chief Minister's Office.
The Chief Minister said about three lakh acres of land for industrial use would be made available to prospective industrialists in Telangana and excellent infrastructure would be created on these lands, the release said.
The visiting dignitaries discussed possibility of organising an Indo-American trade summit some time later this year, it said.
The CM requested the delegation to include Hyderabad in the schedule of US President Barack Obama as and when he visits India. The US team evinced keen interest in cooperation in aviation and defence areas, the release added.
