US dollar ends sharply higher against rupee

The US dollar ended sharply higher against the rupee at 66.24/25 per dollar and the Pound sterling also shot-up to finished at Rs 102.80/82 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (Forex) today.
