US man charged in loud music killing takes stand
AP Jacksonville (US) The man charged with fatally shooting an unarmed 17-year-old boy after an argument over loud music says he thought he saw the barrel of a gun from a neighbouring vehicle pointed at him in the moments before he fired his weapon.
Michael Dunn testified today that he feared for his life.
Dunn is charged with first-degree murder. Dunn, who is white, has pleaded not guilty and says he acted in self-defense when he shot 17-year-old African-American Jordan
Davis outside a Jacksonville convenience store in 2012. Dunn says he and his fiancee pulled into a spot next to an SUV where music with a "thumping" bass was playing.
He says he asked the three teens to turn down the music, and they complied for a bit, then turned it back up.
