The FDA officials travelling to India include Howard Sklamberg, J.D., Deputy Commissioner for Global Regulatory Operations and Policy, Michael R. Taylor, J.D., Deputy Commissioner for Foods and Veterinary Medicine and Cynthia Schnedar, JD, Director, Office of Compliance, USFDA said.
The FDA delegation will be travelling to New Delhi, Goa, Chennai and Mumbai.
Officials will sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the US FDA and the Export Inspection Council of India, signifying the importance of regular engagement and information sharing with India's Ministry of Commerce, and other organizations under their purview that have oversight of FDA regulated products that are exported to the US, it added.
