UTC Aerospace Systems, a unit of a US-based conglomerate, would provide wheels and carbon brakes to domestic airline IndiGo for its fleet of new Airbus A320 neo aircraft.
These aircraft equipments will be supplied to the airline from UTC's Landing Systems facility in Troy, Ohio, according to a statement issued today.
IndiGo is set to take the delivery of its first A320 neo (new engine option) later this year.
UTC Aerospace Systems is a unit of the US-based United Technologies Corp.
"We are excited to welcome IndiGo as a Landing Systems customer and we look forward to supporting this new fleet with our latest generation A320 wheels and brakes," Landing Systems president Jim Wharton said in the statement.
The airline currently operates a fleet of ninety-seven Airbus A320 aircraft.
