Uttarakhand Governor meets President

Uttarakhand Governor K K Paul today called on President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here, two days after central rule was lifted from the state following Chief Minister Harish Rawat's victory in the floor test in the Assembly.
During the meeting that lasted about 30 minutes, Paul is understood to have apprised the President of the current political situation in the state, official sources said.
