The amount was sanctioned from the Chief Minister's relief fund, officials said.
Twenty-eight people were killed and hundreds rendered homeless in cloudburst and floods in Uttarkashi early this month.
The Uttarakashi District Magistrate was directed to give Rs one lakh to those whose houses were totally damaged, the officials said.
Those whose houses or commercial structures were damaged more than 50 per cent would get Rs 50,000.
Rs 2000 per month for six months would be given to those whose houses were destroyed, the officials said.
Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna said his government was making all out efforts to provide relief to the victims.
He flagged off a truck carrying life saving medicines for Uttarkashi district.
Meanwhile, torrential rain, which lashed most parts of the hill state during the past three days, has subsided.
