A guard of honour by the 3/9 Gorkha regiment was given to the outgoing Governor who will take oath as the Governor of Rajasthan on May 12.
Alva said she enjoyed every moment of her three-year tenure in Uttarakhand and would carry memories of the place with her.
Aziz Qureshi has been appointed the Governor of Uttarakhand and will take oath of office on May 15.
