Justice Alok Singh asked the government to submit its response by June 15.
In its writ petition, Nestle alleged that the state government took the decision "unilaterally" to ban Maggi noodles in the state without sharing the test reports of the samples of the food product with the company.
The Uttarakhand government had imposed a 90-day ban on production, sale and storage of Maggi noodles in the state yesterday following failure of its samples in tests conducted at a laboratory in Rudrapur.
