After a barren first half, Uzbekistan scored through Jasurbek Umrzakov in the 49th minute. Rasul Yuldoshov increased the lead in the 61st minute before Ibrokhim Ganikhonov added a third not long after DPR Korea pulled one back through Ri Kang Guk.
Uzbekistan, with three wins, finished with nine points to top the group and set up a clash with Iraq in the quarterfinals on September 26.
While DPR Korea, who finished second with six points, play with Oman on the same day at Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.
In another Group D match in Fatorda, Thailand played out a 1-1 draw with Yemen, to open their account in their final match.
Both teams played for pride as they have already been eliminated from the tournament after defeats to DPR Korea and Uzbekistan respectively.
Yemen took the lead in the 27th minute through Abdulmajeed Sbarah, while Thailand equalised in the 47th minute when Natthaphon Srisawat scored off a rebound.
