V-Guard Ind Q1 net up 13.07% at Rs 25.16 crore

V-Guard Industries today reported a 13.07 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 25.16 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
The net profit of the company in the corresponding period last fiscal stood at Rs 22.25 crore.
Its net revenues for the quarter under review stood at Rs 494.44 crore against Rs 473.89 crore year-ago, up 4.33 per cent, the company said in a BSE filing.

HDFC Bank, Snapdeal launches co-branded credit card * HDFC Bank and Snapdeal today jointly launched a co-branded credit card that will payback rewards to the customers making digital payments shopping from the e-commerce platform.
"Snapdeal to reward customers for making digital payments using Snapdeal HDFC Bank Credit Card by offering accelerated rewards and exclusive offers for the cardholders," HDFC Bank said in a release.

MCX witnesses record delivery in mentha oil June contract * Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) today said it has witnessed record delivery of 13.5 lakh kg valued at about Rs 156 crores executed in mentha oil June 2015 contract.
"The exchange has witnessed record delivery of 13.5 lakh kg valued at approximately Rs 156 crores executed in mentha oil June 2015 contract. In terms of both value and quantity this is the highest delivery executed in mentha oil on the Exchange platform, since the contract's launch in 2005," MCX said in a statement.
