Val Kilmer undergoes surgery for throat tumour

'Batman Forever' actor Val Kilmer was admitted to UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica after he began bleeding from the throat.
According to TMZ, the 55-year-old actor suffered a throat tumour and is currently recovering after undergoing a surgery.
Law enforcement sources said that paramedics rushed to Kilmer's Malibu residence after receiving a phone call about the bleeding.
The Santa Monica Fire Department confirmed that a man was transported from Kilmer's address that day.
Kilmer's family has been upset because he has ignored the illness and let it get worse. The 'Wyatt Earp's Revenge' actor was last seen attending a Clippers game with his son Jack on January 16. At that time, he was photographed with his neck covered with black scarf.

Back in October, the actor reportedly was unable to speak in court over a dispute with his landlord because his tongue was swollen.
