"We are looking for a strategic partner, not for India, outside India to help us grow business overseas. It can be someone who has presence in deodorants business, we may also look working as their distributor in the Indian market," Vanesa Care CMO Saurabh Gupta told PTI.
The company has drawn up aggressive plan to expand operations overseas. By end of fiscal 2017, Vanesa Care is looking at establishing distribution in over 20 countries.
When asked of the strategic partner would be an investor, Gupta said: "It could be. It is not decided yet. It should be someone who can bring more than money to the table."
Next month, the company will start distribution in the UAE,which will also handle distribution in GCC countries, MENA region and Pakistan.

The company has distribution in Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and these markets contribute 6 per cent of its total sales.
The company is eyeing Rs 440 crore turnover this fiscal, out which it expects deodorants to contribute Rs 300 crore to the total revenue.
Vanesa Care has two manufacturing units for deodorants in Kala Amb in Himachal Pradesh and Sonepat in Haryana.
