"The train is run for devotees at low cost. Broad gauge work between Palani and Pollachi will soon be completed," he said, speaking on the occassion.
The train will reach Tiruchendur today at 17.55 hrs. In the return direction, it will leave from Tiruchendur at 10.30 hrs and reach Palani at 19.20 hrs.
Regular train service in both directions will commence from tomorrow in the following timings:
The Palani-Tiruchendur passenger will leave Palani at 07.20 hrs, arrive in Dindigul at 08.45 hrs and halt for five minutes, arrive in Madurai at 10.15 hrs and again stop for five minutes, arrive at Tirunelveli at 14.00 hrs and reach Tiruchendur 16.00 hrs, railway sources said.
